Science 20 Meeting already has defined program
#s20brazil – The final schedule for the Science20 meeting on March 11th and 12th is now available on the event’s webpage.
The Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) is organizing the eighth edition of the Science20 (S20), the Engagement Group for Science and Technology of the G20. Comprising the National Academies of Sciences of G20 countries, the S20 aims to promote dialogue among the scientific community on critical issues and provide recommendations, based on a consensus document, to the governments of G20 countries.
The meeting will be held in Rio de Janeiro, integrated with the G20 meeting – which in 2024 will take place in Brazil, across 13 different cities. The S20 supports the G20 by facilitating official dialogue with the host country’s scientific community, led by the national scientific academy, which this year is the ABC.
Two in-person meetings will be held, at the opening and closing, with virtual intermediate discussions. The meeting will be livestreamed online.
